Who needs a good story when you have S-HD-P! (SUPER HD PIXELS)

Pixels to a feature movie is like the granite to a great drawing. If you though Blu Ray was cool and very high def. wait until you see what Dolby and Sony have in store. In the article 'Better Pixels' it talks about the debate in which the problem is to raise the current standard of quality of pixels not by four times but eight times as much. Bill Taylor, five-term governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, says that he sees, "unlimited expressive potential" for the higher quality of a better pixels. Better pixel technology means a mixture of higher resolution meaning more pixels and faster pixels-- with higher "dynamic range (HDR)" meaning greater color range including "brightter and darker colors." I am excited that in my film class we might receive better cameras that shoots in slightly better quality than the one we have in possesion, imagine how excited I am for these "super pixels" to be developed in the future. As HD T.V.s are becoming the norm for this every developing country I belive the introduction of these "super pixels" will change the industry due to the options that can be opened up by this innovation.
