The Little Things Happening.
In every industry there are many different kinds of roles to be met, different archytypes to be played in order to make the system run smoothly. Even in the film indusrty there are little things that can be blown into proportion that can create all types of chaos. This one is insignificant if compared to the rest. So the Oscar security officers are going to strike at the Dolby theathre on Friday. Their reason being, they do no belong in a "union" and they should. Even though this is a minor topic in relation to the whole film industry I believe little disputes like this should be handled early and the filmmakers such as myself need to learn how to handle disagreements and disputes so that we would be prepared in the industry. Talent is important but what is more important is the people skills we are going to need to handle other people. Filmmaking isn't an individual thing but it is a machine and each of us needs to work together in order to achieve our goals-- to make a movie and GET MONEY...and GET FAMOUS! As a filmmaker little things like this should be noticed and we have to learn how to handle tense situations.
